So as I get back into the swing of things and start pouring over the political spectrum and see the dismal outlook and I think to myself when is it ever not like this? For all the years I have covered politics I cannot find a single year when everyone was happy. Either Republicans are pissed at Democrats because of some religious reason or Democrats are pissed at Republicans because of some social issue it is always the same. Parents kill their kids, Husbands kill their wives, celebrities OD, Arabs hate Jews, the poor are getting poor and the rich are getting richer, we could write a song about misery. Maybe it is the news that is the cause of the dismay.

But with signs the economy is finally moving forward instead of backward maybe there is a light at the end of the tunnel and soon the winter will become spring and spring will become summer and things will be better. So fuck it. Cheer up America and hang in there it can't hold out for much longer, this downturn, so suck it up. Take a look at Soulcast these days, it has a new paint job and good once-over and here we are, good as new.

in politics, everyone will never be happy. (hey, at least it wasn't a double negative) seems that the republicans still haven't recovered from the bush era, they haven't yet fielded a serious contender to the 'young upstart' of 4 years ago, who i might add, has done a pretty decent job with what he was dealt. not that i like everything he's done, but that's another story. i'm still left to wonder, the opposition party has fielded their radicals thus far, who's their dark horse that's waiting in the wings who has a real shot at making this a 1 term office as predicted? everyone out there on the republican ticket that hasn't ground each other up in pre and mid primaries will be handily beat by the incumbent, just on the fact that nobody really wants to see either of them in that office. even republicans.
